High-Voltage Power Systems

Battery-electric power systems built for the performance and uptime heavy equipment demands.

We integrate battery systems, power electronics, charging, controls and vehicle systems around the machine, helping you move beyond diesel with the performance your operation needs.

Replacing diesel takes more than a battery

Diesel brings cost, supply dependence and price volatility. For equipment operating long hours in demanding conditions, those pressures can affect productivity, planning and performance.

Battery-electric power is more than an engine swap. The battery, power electronics, charging, controls and vehicle integration must work together around the machine, site and haul cycle.

We specialise in integration of hardware and software, working collaboratively with OEM and Mining Customers to ensure successful electrified product integrations that focus on performance.

One power system. Built around the machine.

We develop and integrate the critical systems that turn stored energy into reliable machine performance.

  • Battery systems

We design battery modules, packs and complete systems up to megawatt-hour scale. Our work ranges from a 35 kg hybrid battery pack for IMSA/ACO to an 18-tonne integrated battery electric mining power system.

  • Power electronics

We provide inverters, DC-DC converters, and low- and high-voltage power distribution units to convert and distribute power across the machine.

  • Charging

Our range of chargers are able to support high power rapid charging, from Pit Boost motorsport Formula E application to mine site 6MW chargers.

  • elysia-cloud

    Controls and integration

Our proprietary battery management system monitors battery health and manages high-voltage switching, cell balancing, charging limits, and thermal controls across the power system.

Roadrunner

Motorsport engineering at mining scale

Electrifying a 240-tonne haul truck meant adapting battery power to the demands of a working mine.

We applied our motorsport engineering experience to integrate a 1.4 MWh battery system into Roadrunner, Fortescue’s battery-electric haul truck prototype.

Tested at Christmas Creek, one of Fortescue's Australian mining operations, Roadrunner demonstrated regenerative braking on downhill runs, capturing energy for the battery. The programme helped build knowledge for the next generation of battery-electric haul trucks.
