We are Fortescue Zero
What we do
We develop, prove and commercialise technologies that make clean energy and electrification work in the real world.
Our strength is not just the technology. It's understanding the whole system around it — how it will be used, what it will face and what it takes to perform.
Battery intelligence. Advanced engineering. Motorsport solutions. High-voltage power systems. Wind technology.
Different challenges. The same approach: solve the hard problem, put the answer under pressure and learn fast.

We inherited a bloodline
Our engineering roots trace back to Williams Advanced Engineering - “an engineering company that happened to go racing.” – Frank Williams
Racing demands speed, ingenuity and absolute performance. It’s given our engineers an unforgiving proving ground and a way of working that still runs through Fortescue Zero today.
Formula E's first batteries. More than a million kilometres raced. Engineering where there is nowhere to hide.
When Williams Advanced Engineering became Fortescue Zero in 2022, it came with global scale, greater investment and another extraordinary proving ground: the Pilbara mine sites.
The environments changed. The mindset didn't.
We still move fast. We still create under pressure. And we're still drawn to the problems other people think are too hard.
